Resurfacing

During a full bathroom renovation, it’s easy to picture completely upgraded fixtures in your space. A brand new bathtub, shower, or sink may bring on feelings of delight, but replacements and upgrades can be beyond costly. You don’t have to compromise fantastic looking fixtures for your entire renovation budget. In fact, you can keep your current fixtures and simply upgrade their surfaces instead. Refinishing or resurfacing a bathtub, shower, or sink can be far more cost-effective than replacement with an end result that will have you believing you have just replaced all your fixtures. At Tubworx, we can expertly resurface and restore…

  • Fiberglass

  • And much more!

…through our high-quality re-glazing process. From stripping away unwanted and outdated finished to creating an aesthetically pleasing and smooth top, resurfacing this the answer for many remodelers who are looking to get the most from their budget.

How Does the Process Work?

Resurfacing is generally a multi-step process that involves thoroughly cleaning and sanding the surface of the bathroom fixture. This is to remove any hard soap scum or other particles that could hinder the perfectly smooth finish of a reglazing. From here, our team will repair any imperfections on the surface the could affect the quality and longevity of the new glaze. Finally, we’ll use acid to break down any remaining glaze on your bathtub, shower, or sink. We’ll follow this deglazing with a new primer and bonding agent, finally moving on to the perfect top coat.
